Whitewater Early Music Festival, June 5 – 6, 2021!

8 classes for $75!

Registration is open until May 21st! You can sign up for eight one-hour sessions over two days, or four one-hour sessions on one day. The cost will be $40 for one day and 4 classes; $75 for two days and 8 classes.
The festival offers 16 classes to choose from, and no limit on class size. This year’s faculty includes Laura Kuhlman, Lisette Kielson, Eric Haas, Gayle Neuman, Phil Neuman, James Chaudoir, Clea Galhano, Larry Lipnik, Jennifer Carpenter, Adaiha MacAdam-Somer, plus a Youth Program and more!

Lisette returns to the Madison (WI) Bach Musicians Summer Chamber Music Workshop—and we’re in person this year!

All of our faculty will be fully vaccinated by the time of the workshop. Ensemble coaching will occur in the large spaces of the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. Participants may be required to wear masks and maintain social distance in compliance with then-current local health advisories. We request that all wind players be vaccinated.”

Mixed Consort Class in March with the Oregon Renaissance Band Trio!

11 weeks for $100!

The Oregon Renaissance Band Trio is back for a 11 week term of music making presented by the Early Music Guild of Oregon. The trio, Gayle Stuwe Neuman, Laura Kuhlman and Phil Neuman play consort trios on a variety of instruments in real time and you play along with us. The classes are open to any and all instruments and are geared towards an intermediate to advanced skill level. We will play the selections we send to you as pdfs ahead of time, give instruction and have live interaction with those on the Zoom call. The repertoire will include medieval, renaissance, baroque, and modern, and new pieces will be added during the course of the term.

Classes begin March 31, 2021 and run for 11 weekly sessions (skipping the week of June 2nd & June 5th.) Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 – 8:30 pm and Saturday mornings at 10:00 – 11:30am. Your $100 fee allows you to play either Wed or Sat or BOTH!
