The Chicago Chapter of the American Recorder Society welcomes Lisette Kielson back as our music director, and we look forward to another excellent season, like the ambitious effort we shared in 2013-2014.

We open our new year September 21 at 2 PM Covenant Presbyterian Church, directed for the first time by our own Mirja Lorenz. Mirja, a native of Germany, has been delighting local audiences for several years with her virtuoso recorder skills.  She studied recorder in German and the Netherlands and in recent years has performed with groups like the Music of the Baroque and the Haymarket Opera Company.  Save the date, and please make plans to join us!
