Chicago Recorder Trio presents “Simply Remember: Our Favorite Things” on Friday, April 9th, in the Musicians Club of Women “Artists in Recital” Series
In their first concert since the pandemic, Chicago Recorder Trio presents “Simply Remember: Our Favorite Things” on Friday, April 9th at noon featuring music from the 14th to the 21st centuries by Bach, Vivaldi, Uccellini, Staeps, Melika Fitzhugh, and more! As part of the Musicians Club of Women Artists in Recital Series, the performance will be live streamed without an audience from Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago.

Spring Workshop Events
Due to the uncertainties of the past year, the Chicago Chapter decided not to present its biennial April workshop in 2021. But there’s no need to miss the fun learning opportunities of the many virtual workshops and online classes being offered around the country. They all are very economical, present fascinating programs and involve no travel!
Whitewater Early Music Festival, June 5 – 6, 2021
Registration is now open. You can sign up for eight one-hour sessions over two days, or four one-hour sessions on one day. The cost will be $40 for one day and 4 classes; $75 for two days and 8 classes.
The festival offers 16 classes to choose from, and no limit on class size. This year’s faculty includes Laura Kuhlman, Lisette Kielson, Eric Haas, Gayle Neuman, Phil Neuman, James Chaudoir, Clea Galhano, and more!

The Oregon Renaissance Band Trio is back for a 11 week term of music
making presented by the Early Music Guild of Oregon. The trio, Gayle
Stuwe Neuman, Laura Kuhlman and Phil Neuman play consort trios on a
variety of instruments in real time and you play along with us. The
classes are open to any and all instruments and are geared towards an
intermediate to advanced skill level. We will play the selections we
send to you as pdfs ahead of time, give instruction and have live
interaction with those on the Zoom call. The repertoire will include
medieval, renaissance, baroque, and modern, and new pieces will be
added during the course of the term.
Classes begin March 31, 2021 and run for 11 weekly sessions (skipping
the week of June 2nd & June 5th.) Classes are held on Wednesday
evenings at 7:00 – 8:30 pm and Saturday mornings at 10:00 – 11:30am.
Your $100 fee allows you to play either Wed or Sat or BOTH! You can

in the form of a donation to EMGO. Then let us know by email at
email@example.com that you would like to take the class.
