On Sunday November 20th at 2 PM Andrew Schultze will lead a Workshop on English 17th Century Music.
It will feature music from ca 1600-1695, and will include works by Lanneare, Wilson, Johnson, Ives and Henry Purcell.
Among the sources of the music to be performed are The Synopsis Of Vocal Music [1680] which includes songs in arrangements for 2 trebles and bass, Sabol’s Four Hundred Songs and Dances from the Stuart Masque, and Purcell’s Orpheus Britannicus and Bonduca. A complement of singers will add to our enjoyment of the repertoire!
I look forward to seeing you all there!
